I think that Appleton House Training Centre is a perfect place for applying for jobs. Since i was sent on a 2 week course via Jobcentre Plus last month which i really enjoyed because the ELO that i had who is known as Miss Randeep Kaur was very kind, polite and very helpful with applying for vacancies by using the PC to make amendments and giving me a hand with my cv/cover letter etc every time a new vacancy was advertised online. Overall, it was a great opportunity to meet new faces and get to know them and i would recommend others to pop in to Appleton House on a Wednesday afternoon drop in session and take advantage of the great facilities that are available their.

having been sent to appleton house by my job center to do intensive job search,but on arrival it was evident that staff had no intension of letting me do any kind of job search at all.instead i was told it would be at least a week before i would have any chance of looking for a job due to lack of up to date job papers and out dated computers.the first week was spent playing hangman and told to do a cv.i informed them i already had a cv and would bring it in which i did but becouse it was done on a new computer it was not compatible with there computers,and told to do another on there computers becouse i refused i was kicked of the course.in my oppinion this course is a sham and should be closed down as it can not provide basics for job search ie upto date job papers,cups so you can have a drink,up to date computers.
