Course Content
We have designed a one-day course covering all aspects of the Tendering process. The course is centred on classroom-based learning. There are practical team work exercises at the end of each stage that are aimed to make the course more interesting whilst encouraging 'learning by doing'. These exercises also make the candidates think how the buyer would think. Our course tutor is very energetic and fun! Candidates are encouraged to get involved in all the exercises that include for example, writing an example Tender and even marking them as the procurement department would so after just one course you are able to Tender.

A motivated and passionate salesman, Scott started his working career climbing masts for Vodafone in the 90’s mobile boom. Scott then moved into enterprise telecommunication solutions selling to predominantly the Public Sector such as Councils and Police forces. After 5 successful years developing a sales team which focussed solely on the Public Sector; Scott decided to assist other technology SME’s in winning business from the Public Sector and founded Barlow Consulting.
Barlow Consulting was acquired by B2B Quote Ltd and continuing under the B2B Quote brand offer complete Public Sector lead notification and consultancy services. Scott now works with companies from all sectors including healthcare, cleaning, media, management consultancies and is also involved in regional workshops for companies that want a piece of the Olympic Pie.
Scott also features regularly in the business press and has just appeared in Real Business Magazine’s Savings Britain’s Future where Scott attacks the appalling process which is ‘doing business with the Government’.
